Road upgrades herald start of wind farm construction
29 August 2016
Pacific Hydro will be holding a pop-up information session at Mount Wallace Public Hall Reserve, Mount Wallace Hall Road, from 5 – 7pm on Thursday 8 September 2016 in relation to its wind farm at Yaloak South.
A number of activities will be undertaken over the coming months to facilitate delivery of Pacific Hydro’s first wind farm construction project since being acquired earlier this year by State Power Investment Corporation.
Pacific Hydro’s CEO, Mike Fuge, said the pop-up information provides a great opportunity for the community and local businesses to meet Pacific Hydro staff and get information about upcoming construction works including road upgrades and site mobilisation.
“This session is a great way for neighbours and local businesses to meet the team, see how they can get involved and learn more about Pacific Hydro and this exciting project”, he said.
The pop-up information session will also be an opportunity for members of the community to express their interest in participating in a Community Partnership Group and for owners of eligible properties to register for visual screening.
