Another fan of wind energy

The popularity of tours and open days held at our sites over the years has shown us that wind farms hold a fascination for many members of the general public.
But clearly humans aren’t the only ones who enjoy the chance to get an up close look at our wind turbines!
This roo was recently spotted sheltering from the sun at our Clements Gap Wind Farm during one of the first hot days of Summer. He (or she) was spotted by one of our technicians chilling out under the stairs which lead to the entrance of the tower.
Sheep and cows are also regularly seen grazing in the shade cast by the towers at our Victorian and South Australian farms or cuddling up to the huge structures to escape the elements during the cold, wet Victorian winter.
