  • Night lighting at the Wandearah Tennis Club - The grant will upgrade the court lighting to ensure games can be run concurrently - $4000
  • Broughton Rainbow Quilters, equipment upgrade - The Quilters create quilts for local hospital and aged care facilities and needed new equipment to allow the group to operate more efficiently - $370
  • 'Improving access to gymnastics in the mid-north', Port Pirie Regional Gymnastics Academy - new equipment for 'come and try' sessions in Port Broughton and Crystal Brook to encourage community members to participate in Gymnastics. Funds will purchase a set of uneven bars - $4356
  • Purchase of light weight transportable goals, The Crystal Brook Hockey Club - This will ensure the club can continue to hold games on the temporary new home at the Crystal Brook Football Club - $6000
  • 'Personal helpers and mentors' program, Australian Red Cross - Program designed to build confidence and social skills in people living with a significant mental illness - $8600
  • Eco-toilet in the conservation park, Clements Gap Community with support of Friends of Clements Gap Group - This new facility, with access for the disabled, will provide better facilities for visitors to the conservation park - $6100
  • Outside blinds to improve energy efficiency, the Crystal Brook Football Club -The blinds will help save on energy costs and provide greater comfort and aesthetics for members and visitors - $3115
  • Essential infrastructure repairs, Crystal Brook Country Women's Association - The clubroom's roof is in urgent need of repair to ensure the club can continue its important community work - $6500
  • Sponsorship of the Crystal Brook Show, North West Agricultural Society -Regional Shows foster social cohesion and provide an excellent opportunity for community members to celebrate and enjoy the attributes of their area - $4000 in 2010, ($5000 in 2011)
  • Replacement of surface to save water, The Crystal Brook Bowling Club - The synthetic surface provides year round access and saves water-$5000 in 2010 ($5000 also provided in 2009).
