Sustainable Communities
Fund
The support of our communities is vital: we undertake thorough
community consultation and encourage local initiatives through our
sponsorship programs. Our groundbreaking Sustainable Communities
Fund was an Australian first when launched in November
2005.
The fund supports organisations and individuals working to make
a positive and lasting contribution to their communities. Funding
is sourced as a percentage of revenue from existing wind farms and
is made available every year the project operates.
Sustainable Communities Funds are currently in operation
for Pacific Hydro's Portland Wind Energy Project, as well
as for Challicum Hills, Codrington and Yambuk and Clements Gap
wind farms.
