Customer Satisfaction Yields Top Award in the Market

Pacific Hydro’s retail arm, Tango Energy, has been recognised with the Canstar Blue award for Most Satisfied Customers – VIC Electricity, 2018.
Canstar Blue’s Commercial Group Manager, Adrian Taylor, was first to congratulate the rapidly growing company, referring to it as a disruptor in the Victorian Market.
“Tango Energy has certainly made some waves in the highly competitive Victorian Market.
“Not only does Tango Energy feature in our results for the first time ever, it has taken out the top prize by being recognised as the leading electricity provider for Customer Satisfaction”, he said.
Receiving the award, Pacific Hydro President, Robert Shi and Pacific Hydro CEO, Rachel Watson, were joined by Tango Energy CEO, Domenic Capomolla, who said the award was a reflection of how great customer satisfaction has been a key focus for the company since it entered the market.
“Our proposition is simple; competitive rates, fixed for 12 months, no fancy discounts and great customer service.
“Being recognised with Canstar Blue’s top prize for Most Satisfied Customers – VIC Electricity, 2018 cements our position in the market as a new force”, he said.
Founded in Melbourne in 1992, Pacific Hydro has developed energy projects in Australia for over 25 years. It launched the Tango Energy brand in 2018, and opened a regional office in Geelong, creating over 50 full time jobs.
Pacific Hydro has just passed its own milestone of reaching over 1GW of installed capacity across its renewable energy assets in Australia, Brazil and Chile.
