Bernard Wheelahan   Bernard Wheelahan
BSc, DipEd, FRACI, FAusIMM. FAICD, FAIE
Non-Executive Chairman

Appointed as Director on 27 June 2003, Mr Wheelahan is an independent Company Director. He has had 40 years experience in the petroleum, gas and minerals resources industries in Australia and overseas.  During his career he has been Chairman, Director or Committee Member on a large number of public and private companies and joint ventures associated with petroleum, gas and minerals. These include President of Shell Venezuela SA and Director of Normandy Mining Ltd, Woodside Petroleum Ltd and Shell Australia Ltd. He is Chairman of The Bass Strait Oil Company and the Australian Government’s Council on Australia Latin America Relations.

Garry Weaven

Appointed as Director on 29 July 2005, Garry Weaven is the founder of Industry Fund Services Pty Ltd, a diversified financial services organisation owned by and providing products and services to a range of superannuation funds and Chair of IFM. His involvement with the superannuation and funds management Industry follows a successful career in the union movement which culminated in being elected Assistant Secretary of the ACTU in 1986. Mr Weaven is a Director of VicUrban, Industry Super Holdings which is owned by 37 superannuation funds, Members Equity Bank Pty Ltd and Conference of Major Superannuation Funds (CMSF) Pty Ltd.  He is also a member of Infrastructure Australia.


    Damian Moloney

Appointed as Director on 29 July 2005.  Mr Moloney is currently Chief Executive of IFM, the wholesale investment management subsidiary of Industry Super Holdings, and has been with IFM since 1995. Previously worked for Towers Perrin as investment consultant, the University of Melbourne as lecturer, and ANZ Bank.

Appointed a Director on 26 March 2004, Mr. Coffey has extensive experience in construction, development and structured finance. Mr Coffey’s previous positions included General Manager Development & Investment with John Holland Group, Finance Director at Azon Limited, General Manager Finance at Atlas Steels Limited and Chief Financial Officer at McConnell Dowell Limited. Mr Coffey is a Director of Forestry Tasmania Pty Ltd, McCarthur Cook Ltd and the Tasmanian Government Irrigation Development Board.  He is Chairman of Utilities of Australia Pty. Ltd and CEOS Pty Ltd.

Kate Spargo

Appointed a Director on 26 March 2004, Kate Spargo practised as a lawyer in both private practice and with the Crown Law office in Adelaide before moving to practice management and consulting. Ms Spargo is a Non-Executive Director of IOOF Holdings Ltd, Australian Pork Ltd, Transfield Services Infrastructure Ltd, Investec Bank (Aust) Ltd, Colnvest Ltd and Neuroscience Victoria Limited. She is also Chairman of Accounting Professionals and Ethical Standards Ltd and a Councillor of the Victorian Division of the AICD.  She was recently appointed as a Director of the (soon to be formed) Australian Energy Market Operators.

     

 

 

Grahame Campbell

Appointed as a Director on 19 March 2008. He is also a director of Worley Parsons.  Grahame was Managing Director of CMPS&F from 1987 to 1995, at the time one of the largest engineering and project management groups in Australia. Grahame has over 30 years’ experience in the management of major Australian and offshore infrastructure projects including oil, gas, road, rail, mining and minerals projects. Grahame is a past President of the Association of Consulting Engineers Australia and the Australian Pipeline Industry Association.
