The benefit to the environment is significant. Our existing and planned projects over the next 5 years are set to generate more than 1,200MW of clean power that otherwise would have been created from non-renewable resources, creating excessive greenhouse gases.

This is an important achievement. There is now a global acceptance that we must reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and urgently, yet global electricity consumption is predicted to increase by 85 per cent by 2030.

Clearly renewable “clean” energy is the only viable way forward for a sustainable world.
