Our Energy

Pacific Hydro produces power from water and wind, which is totally clean and renewable. Our 300MW of operating projects have already saved the atmosphere from more than 5 million tonnes of greenhouse pollution and produce enough clean electricity to power 500,000 homes each year.

But that’s only the beginning.

We’re actively pursuing renewable energy development opportunities across Australia, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific, and by 2011, we’re on target to have cut out more than 4 million tonnes of greenhouse gas pollution a year.

That’s the equivalent of removing almost one million cars from the road.
